These SCR systems reduce the NOx content in the exhaust gasses of a ship’s engines by injecting a reducing agent into the exhaust system at a relatively low temperature. They will set NOx emission limitations to all vessels wishing to sail in the Nitrogen Emission Control Areas(NECAs) North America, US Caribbean, Baltic Sea and the North Sea.
